Android TV App Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Warped Pinball app for Android TV. The app displays scores and other information from your own Origin hub on your TV. It does not cover the Origin hub itself or this website.
The short version: the app tracks nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no personal information sent to Warped Pinball. It is there so you can put your Origin hub on a big screen.
What The App Does
The app is a viewer. It connects to your Origin hub and shows what the hub already knows on your television: scores, leaderboards, game status, and similar information.
Everything you see comes from your own hub. The app displays that data without copying it anywhere else, and it does not send anything about you to us.
What We Collect
Nothing. To be specific, the app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share:
- Names, email addresses, or other personal or contact information
- Accounts or login credentials (the app has no accounts)
- Analytics, usage statistics, or crash reporting of our own
- Advertising identifiers, tracking identifiers, or cookies
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data
- Player names or scores from your machines
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking libraries. We hold no data about you from the app, so there is none for us to retain, disclose, or delete on request.
Data On Your Device
The app saves your settings on your TV device so you do not have to set it up again every time. That covers the subdomain for your hub and your display preferences. Those settings stay on the device.
Uninstalling the app removes them, like any other Android TV app.
How The App Connects
When you set up the app, you type in the subdomain for the hub you want to view. The app connects to that one address, your-subdomain.warpedpinball.com.
The app does not scan, discover, or inventory anything on your local network. It does not look at your other devices. It connects to the single address you gave it.
Your hub and its subdomain are a separate product, set up when you bought the hub, and are not covered by this policy. The app is a convenient way to view a hub you already own.
Other than reaching that address, the app does not phone home. It has no analytics endpoint and no Warped Pinball server it reports your usage to.
Google Play
If you installed the app from the Google Play Store, Google collects its own information about installs, updates, and app stability as part of running the store. That is between you and Google, is outside our control, and is covered by Google's Privacy Policy. Any aggregate statistics we see in the Play Console come from Google, not from anything the app sends us.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes To This Policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a future version collects anything at all, we will say so here before it ships.
